Hula in a Sari (Colour 4) is a gallery-grade fine-art giclee print of Namrata Kumar’s original painting, part of her acclaimed “Hula in a Sari” series. In this edition (Colour 4), the artist explores new tonal shifts — rich hues that heighten the sense of movement, fabric, and form. The artwork invites you into a moment where culture and motion meet: a figure draped in a sari engages in a hula-hoop gesture, the circular sweep symbolic of tradition, freedom and joyful movement. The composition uses graphic form, layered colour and textured depth to highlight both the elegance of the sari and the dynamism of motion.
